He has worked in several unique behavioral healthcare facilities, higher education and in public service assisting individuals to create meaningful changes in their lives and move beyond traumatic experiences. Bob’s practice has been located at South Main Street Counseling Center since 2011. He specializes in providing therapy for relational challenges, mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse and for individuals impacted by trauma. He has worked with families, individuals and emergency responders involved in traumatic incidents throughout the Northeast region of the United States.
Bob believes all individuals during their journey through life encounter challenges that significantly impact their relationships and quality of life. Within the warm and professional space of South Main Street Counseling Center, Bob provides therapy in a therapeutic environment that allows clients to change their personal perspective and gain greater insight into the struggles in their life. Clients are encouraged and supported to explore those areas of pain and discomfort affecting their relationships and well-being. Bob uses a collaborative approach through a systemic lens to assist individuals, couples and families with creating changes that will lead to more intimate relationships and greater joy in their lives.
Bio and Background Robert Watts EdS, LPC, LCADC
Bob earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling and a postgraduate Education Specialist degree in marriage and family therapy from The College of New Jersey. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University and is a nationally certified counselor. Bob is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has been a member of Mercer County’s Co-Occurring Disorders Task Force since 2007.
Most of all Bob loves spending time with his wife of 37 years, his two sons, extended family and friends.
